Abstract
Photographic exhibition consisted of two parts, originally independent exhibitions Egypt - Secrets of the Desert and the Pyramids and Egypt - Metamorphoses. Egypt - Secrets of the Desert and the Pyramids presents history of the archaeological excavations of the Czech Egyptologists in Lower Nubia (Egypt), Abusir (Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt) and in the surroundings of the Bahreya oasis (Eastern Desert, Arab Republic of Egypt).
Egypt - Metamorphoses shows Egypt (1960-2005) in black and white photographs of Kamil Voděra and Dale J. Osborn.
On the occasion of the exhibition, there was published a catalogue with the texts presenting the exhibition, brief history of the Czech Egyptological Institute and the list of lectures with the synopses.
