Abstract

The article focuses on interfence in both lexis and fonology, an issue which has been central to foreign language teaching for a long time. The author is interested in an phenomenon that has received little attention so far - Russian-Czech negative transfer.

She considers its causes and location and presents the most frequent types of errors. She also deals with the necessity of errors prevention of new methology and teaching materials in this area.
