On two anniversaries of the doctor, biologist, publisher and politician Eduard Grégr

Abstract

The article commemorates the 180th birth anniversary and the 100th anniversary of death of the influential Czech politician, doctor and publisher Eduard Grégr and tries to illustrate his role in the Czech society, science and politics of the 19th century.
