Slavonians between Myth and History. Pondering about 'Romantic' and 'Scientific' Picture of Slavonians of Jan Kollár and František Palacký

Abstract

Each epoch of modern history was creating a purposeful picture of the past on which it based legitimacy of various social and political requirements. The picture of famous Slavonic history by Kollár and Palacký is at the same time an example of diffusion on myth and history.
