Abstract

The deaf people in the Czech republic are foreigners in their own country. They have to use sign language interpreter in order to be able to communicate with the hearing people.

The deaf people are very well aware of their duties and rights, but their situation is being complicated by the fact that the other side of the communication channel (official authrorities, bank clerks, doctors, etc.) usually doesn't know the rules of communication through sign language interepreter. The primary aim of this material is further education of these people.
