Abstract

The fundamental starting point of the paper stems from the fact that adults offering love, understanding, acceptance, rules, and comprehensible limits play crucial role in the development of children. The presented study is based on empirical data concerning educational characteristics within both families and schools.

The essential dimensions of educational interactions between adults and children include emotional relationship and educational conduct. The text introduces adolescents' reflections of such approaches performed by their mothers, fathers, and teachers.

It is noteworthy what changes have recently occurred in the educational environment of Czech families. The results can be a source of much inspiration in our current educational experience.
