Abstract

The 5th volume of the Ethnological atlas of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia deals with spatial differentiation of the Jewish settlements and professions in Bohemia. The book contains introductory text that describes Jewish residential and social structure as well as the structure of Jewish professions and their legal status in the Early Modern Bohemia with focus on the years 1792-1794.

Various tables and graphs are added to the paper. The most important part of the book is the collection of 42 maps on which Jewish settlements and professions are depicted.

The maps cover partly the whole Bohemia, partly 16 historical regions of Czech Kingdom.
