Urinary N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (U-NAG) activity in children with vesicoureteral reflux

Abstrakt

Tubular dysfunction is common in children with VUR. In the absence of a universal 'gold standard' of renal tubular impairment, U-NAG/Cr should be considered a useful marker of tubular function, however there is a weak relationship with the grade of VUR.
