Venous thromboembolism in young female while on oral contraceptives: high frequency of inherited thrombophilia and analysis of thrombotic events in 400 Czech women

Abstract

Hormonal contraception is associated with higher risk of thrombosis. The authors analyzed frequency of thrombophilia and type of thrombosis in 400 Czech women in this article.
