Abstract
Increasing interest in the diagnostics and therapy of postmenopausal osteoporosis is based on the importance of this disease. Diagnostics is more focusing on individual fracture risk prediction, mostly by using FRAX method.
Increased knowledge in pathophysiology of bone metabolism leads to the improvements in therapy, either in improvement of existing drugs, or in modulation of transduction processes in bone cells
