Abstract
The review study deals with the term health-related quality of life. Based on work of Davis et al. (2006) it presents 14 different approaches for defining such term.
It was concluded that the term is used for both clinical research and for practice. Several paradoxes related to both the term and the outcomes of research were discussed.
