Abstract
Review study puts unexpected question and summarizes positive consequences coming from illness for a patient. Study presents model of patient's response on the illness and different stages of coping with the illness.
Study shows summary of quantitative and qualitative methods for doing assessment of positive consequences from the patient's point of view. Study summarizes results of some selected clinical researches.
