The Influence of Lucas Cranach the Elder (14721553) and his Workshop on the Painting in Bohemia in the 16th Century

Abstrakt
The study is focused on the work of the significant German painter of the renaissance period Lucas Cranach the Elder and his influence on the painting in Bohemia and Moravia of the 16th century. These influences are followed from the time around 1500 to approximately 1550.
The author comes to a thesis, that the commencement of this influence was connected with the humanistic milieu of the prominent noble families.
