Abstract
Historical literature often presents the canonisation of Prague´s bishop Adalbert by pope Silvester II. in the year 999. In fact there are no evidence for this, Adalbert was canonisated only throw translation of his relics from Prussia to the Gnesen´s St.
Mary´Church by polish duke Boleslav under collaboration of polish bishop Unger.
