A Muse under Heaven. Early-baroque italian drawings from Bohemian and Moravian collections

Abstract

This publication is a catologue for the exhibition which took place in Moravian Gallery in Brno. There are presented the important drawings of Italian masters of early Baroque (1570-1620), divided into particular schools, deposited in the public collection in the Czech Republic.

The drawings are stylistically classified, put into the appropriate period and in most cases link to definite artworks.
