Abstract
The book brings a large number of facts connected with the world and person of Jesus from Nazareth and with his disciples and followers, and also facts connected with the beginning of the church. It is divided into five chapters whose topics are: the historical, political, social and religious situation in the Rome Empire and in Palestine in the first century BC; the life of Jesus, his activities and teaching; the birth of the New Testament and the spreading of the church into the ancient pagan world outside Palestine, its problems in it, its persecution and conflicts till the end of the first century AD.
