Abstract
The article presents the anthropology of the Russian religious thinker Nikolai Lossky, who was forcibly exiled from the USSR to Prague and later to Bratislava and took an active part in the academic life in pre-war Czechoslovakia. The chapters examine the position of man in natural evolution, man?s dual evolution, the human ?I? and the body as a principle of disease and healing.
