Abstract
The article presents reactions of the Russian thinkers Solovyov, Florensky, Bulgakov, Evdokimov and Lossky to the well-know utterance of the novelist Fyodor Mikhaylovich Dostoyevsky: ?Beauty will save the world.? It demonstrates that beauty as conceived by these authors has a mystical, ontological, sophiological, iconic, Christic and Trinitarian character.
