"Giving is eternal hence life is eternal." Fidelity in the Trinity and the Mystery of Human Existence

Abstract

The study examines a dramatic poem by the Czech poet Václav Renč (1911-1973) The Emperor?s Mime. A clarification of the methodological points of departure is followed by a summary characteristic of the work in terms of history and content, a genetic presentation of its core idea and a concluding attempt to view it on a theoretical plane.

The theme is one of fidelity as a characteristic of the inner life of God Trinity: God?s life is eternal because it is life of abiding love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Participation in God?s abiding love in Jesus Christ gives eternal life to Man.
