Thorn from crown of Christ, Saint Chapel in Paris and itsd influence in Bohemia

Abstract

The Thorns of Christ Crown were given by the French kings as gifts to a series of distinguished Church institutions and personalities, particularly sovereigns. A few of them were given into the Bohemian Lands.

Simultaneously with this rare relic the influence of French art was spreading into the Bohemian Lands.
