In Summer 1911 visited two members of German expressionist Group Die Brücke Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Otto Mueller with Muellers wife Maria in Prague and in Mníšek pod Brdy their Czech colleagues from the former Group ?Eight?. Many art historians emphasized dissimilarity of the work of German and Czech Expressionists and for that reason they assessed this visit of German artists as socially interesting intermezzo, which was important only because of future mutual cooperation by organization of the exhibitions of modern art in Germany and in Bohemia.
This Study researched all circumstances of the visit and assesses its importance for the future work of all involved artists. Thanks to that it opens the questions, which werent in the past satisfyingly answered or werent even formulated.
