Abstract
The article deals with the beginnings of Bohemian ossianism. The beginnings are dated before the Czech National Awakening.
The article emphasizes the key role of the lectures of Prague ordinarius August Gottlieb Meißner on Aesthetics and Poetics in this process. The Czech enlarged version of the originally English article.
