The volume addresses ways in which national and international historiographies and social sciences look at various borders, frontiers and identities from a variety of points of view. An international and interdisciplinary working group investigates the assumptions that underlie European research on where we live and who we are.
The volume is published by the Thematic Work Group on 'Frontiers and Identities' operating as part of CLIOHRES.net a Network of Excellence supported by the European Commission through the Sixths Framework Programme.
