Abstract
Münchhausen´s syndrome is a behavioral complex in which the patients invent fictional data of their history and simulate physical or mental signs in order to be hospitalized. We summarize the history, symptoms, differential diagnostics and possibilities of treatment of Münchhausen´s syndrome.
The survey of literature is completed by our own experience. The casuistic of the syndrome is described.
