Abstract
Headache is a frequent common sign of diseases of the brain, cerebral vessels, meninges, or even some general disease. The differential diagnostics is often very difficult and demands perfect knowledge of all clinical neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine and other specialties.
It is comparable with pain of the abdomen, chest, spine, teeth etc. For the general public and students of medicine it is often a great surprise to find how many variants of headaches there are.
