Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2004

Abstract

Differential diagnosis of febrile condition in infants is always very difficult and it is necessary to assess all available data, including the epidemiologic history of the child. The authors present a case of a 5-month-old infant afflicted by tropical malaria and warn of the pitfalls of therapeutic possibilities of this disease in small children.
