Abstract

The authors discuss the case of the patient who was evaluated for a retroperitoneal expansion with unclear etiology. This man underwent three biopsies in the history.

Peroperative bioptic investigation was done to establish the diagnosiss - malignant fibrous histiocytoma and it also allowed the begining of radiotherapy to achieve the cytoreduction of the primary tumour and possibility of its subsequent surgical removal.
