Abstract

With a progress of new development in medicine we begin to understand, that both economical and medical fundamental society benefit lies in development of preventive programmes. These programmes can be focused on gender-specific diseases or special-interest groups or on a specific age.

Unique forms of prevention are programmes centred on prevention of addictive drug abuse (drug prevention). Widely accepted social data are evaluated in assessment of preventive programmes efficiency.

One of particular importance is a mean length of life. Following that we can find women living 5 years longer than men in average.

Author shows relations among lots of links, which -disadvantage- (biological and psychological aspects) man and primarily complete absence of preventive programmes. Although this topic is unsatisfactorily solved in women, it is completely absent in men.
