Abstract
An international multidisciplinary panel of experts in the management of menopause met at the Amsterdam Symposium about menopause on 2 ? 4. 10. 2004 to determine the specific role of tibolon medication in postmenopausal therapy. Tibolon is a substance with broad use in the treatment of climacteric syndrome.
It is registered in 90 countries for the treatment of climacteric symptoms and in 45 countries for prevention, and in 2 countries (Portugal and SAR) even for treatment of osteoporosis.
