Healthcare and long-term care as components of social protection and social inclusion

Abstract

Healthcare and long-term care are important components of the process of social protection and social inclusion. However, in the Czech Republic, longterm care has not been defined by the legislation yet.

This situation represents one of the main problems for the coordination and interface of health and social care.
