Abstract
Complex therapy of pneumothorax is a multidisciplinary task. The point is: the etiology of pneumothorax is differrent but the resulting risk for the patient is always the same.
Therefore, there is necessity of cooperation of several medical branches in causal therapy. The autors present experience with pneumothorax therapy in Cardiosurgial Department in 5-year interval in 101 patients, where they carried out surgical as well as conservative therapy approaches.
