Microscope-assisted cytometry as an in vitro alternative for sub-chronic toxicity assessment

Abstract

Sub-chronic toxicity of xenobiotics is usually assessed using laboratory animals. We proposed sophisticated monitoring system based on microscope for non-invasive observation and monitoring of cellular functions as an alternative approach.
