Molecular and genetic aspects of tumorigenesis of nervous system and pituitary

Abstract

On the basis of the WHO classification of nervous system tumours and pituitary adenomas, a review of pertinent cytogenetic characteristics, chromosomal mutations, or molecular genetic alterations is presented in the corresponding pathologically defined tumour entities.
