Effect of Valproic Acid, a Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor, on Cell Death and Molecular Changes Caused by Low-Dose Irradiation

Abstract

The aim of our study was to evaluate molecular changes induced by co-treatment by low (cytostatic) concentrations of valproic acid with ionizing radiation and an effect of this combination on apoptosis induction in leukemia cells MOLT-4.
