The inferior alveolar nerve lateratization in the combination with insertion of dental implants. Case report

Abstract

Lateralization of the inferior alveolar nerve is an alternative treatment modality in case of outstanding atrophy of the lateral parts of the mandibular alevolar process. Insertion of dental implants into an edentulous jaw induces reduction of atrophy of the alveolar process and stabilization of the frontal residual dentition.
