Abstract
The article is author's final attempt at giving a short survey of his work devoted to the Fregean logicism, especially to its alleged resurrection in the so-called neologicism. The title 'Number and Paradox' was chosen to cover two basic questions connected with the logicist idea, namely: 'Is logicism dead?' and 'Are there synthetic a priori truths?
