Abstract
The first Czech study comparing Western European, American and Czech Romanticism focuses on the plurality of ?romanticisms? (A.O. Lovejoy) understood as discourses.
It compares romantic themes, approaches and forms (nature, the sublime, imagination, historicism, irony, heroic epic, travel writing).
