Contribution of abdominal sonography in acute appendicitis diagnostics - our experience

Abstract

Acute apendicitis is the most frequent case of acute abdomen. During a two year period it was performed 678 appendictomies, abdomen sonography was performed in 313 patients, same conclusion sonographic examination with the clinical diagnosis was 61%.
