Development of acute myeloid leukemia associated with Ph-negative clone with inv(3)(q21q26) during imatinib therapy for chronic myeloid leukemia

Abstract

Our patient with CML failed to produce any cytogenetic response after initial therapies. Cytogenetic analysis revealed clonal evolution in Ph-positive (Ph+) clone with trisomy 8.
