Interleukin-6 augments activation of liver regeneration in porcine model of partial portal vein ligation

Abstrakt
After ligation of portal branches of right liver lobes recombinant porcine IL-6 or physiological solution was applied. The acceleration of growth ofy hypertrophic lobes was maximal on the 7th postoperative day in experimental group.
