Heritability and intrafamilial aggregation of arterial characteristics

Abstract

The authors founds moderate, but significant heritability and intrafamilial aggregation of various indexes of arterial stiffness. They also explored to what extent genetic and environmental correlations between PWV and the other arterial indexes contribute to total phenotypic correlation.
