Abstract
The chapter analyses concepts of Europe and learning firstly, futher deals with changing paradigm of education. The role of education in the process of European integration and the policy of European Union is pointed out.
Europeanization is discussed from the view of implementation of key competencies in national curricula giving examples from the Czech case.
