Abstract
The main theme deals with an analysis of the motif of the puppet in Richard Weiner´s prose fiction in a context of a connection between a concept of the puppet in the romantic (Kleist´s Über das Marionettentheater) and the modernist literature (Rilke´s Duineser Elegie).
