The Split of The Liberal Party Confirmed : The Round Table Conference of 1887

Abstract

The paper is focused on an effort of the Liberal party to reunite after the 1886 split over the Home Rule. The most important attempt occured in 1887 at the Round Table Conference.

However, the Conference broke down and confirmed the Liberal split.
