Abstract
Voyages of the Flemish aristocrat Guillerbert de Lannoy have been translated into Czech and published by four Czech and French historians, which must be appreciated. They have not only translated the text but also added commentaries and four interesting analyses.
They outline basics about the personality of Guillerbert de Lannoy and his work and put it into the wider context of contemporary events and literature.
