Abstract

The aim of study was to determine anaerobic capacity (ANC), anaerobic capacity recounted per kilogram of body mass (ANC / kg) and fatigue index in the context with total revolutions performed in the W-30 Wingate test. The 30 second cycling Wingate test W-30 was used to determine anaerobic performance (anaerobic endurance).

The research sample consists of 19 players of the national academic team performing at the 2009 World Cup. The comparison was based on the mean values and dispersion of performances of the research group and the specified standards of the first league players.

The readiness of the players representing the national academic team was comparable to the standard performance of the first league players. Average value of Pmax/kg was 15,3 W.kg-1 (the first league player average was 15,2 W.kg-1 ) and average value of AnC/kg 347 J.kg-1 (the first league player average was ranging from 342 J.kg-1 to 349 J.kg-1).
