Glycine-Rich Loop of Mitochondrial Processing Peptidase alfa-Subunit Is Responsible for Substrate Recognition by a Mechanism Analogous to Mitochondrial Receptor Tom20

Abstract

We investigated glycine-rich loop of mitochondrial processing peptidase. It was shown to be responsible for substrate recognition by a mechanism similar to that of mitochondrial receptor Tom20.
