Abstract
The study is focused on minig industry in the area of Jáchymov and Přígram after World War II paying regard to hard conditions, which dominated in local work camps. After 1949 the German captives were replaced by new labour forces delivered by the state courts of law.
In May 1950 political prisoners outweighed the retribution and criminal prisoners and some workplaces had directly liquidation character.
