The chapter surveys the frequency and manners of usage of terms related to frontiers and identities by the fifth thematic work group Frontiers and Identities. Together with five other chapters devoted to remaining five thematic work groups, it contributes to the analysis of the discourse on frontiers and identities within the research network as it appeared after first three years.
The goal was to identify usage of the concept which could help to define new agenda for "Crossing Frontiers, Resisting Identities", the 5th and final volume of an international research group. Comprises a reflection on its work over the past 5 years and proposals for future analyses.
The volume uses the binomial "Frontiers and Identities" as a heuristic tool for understanding the past and the present. It is a product of the Thematic Work Group 5 of the Network of Excellence CLIOHRES, supported by the EC through the 6th FP of its Directorate General for Research.
