Abstract
The paper describes university education of nurses for palliative and hospice care based on multi-professional team. It emphasizes nurses´ competence; nurses may success in providing support to patient and his/her family in bio-psychosocial-spiritual wholeness if they are able to co-operate fully with other professions.
